Gisele has been creating some interesting games lately!

The earlier game started when she was showing me one of the foam alphabet letters we have (something like this). I drew the letter on a small magnetic drawing board, and she then started bringing me other letters and asking me to draw them too. The other thing we did was that I would draw a letter, and she would go and get it.

The second, more recent game started after she vomited on the letter W. I washed it and let it dry for a while. Then we needed it to complete the set, so I dried it off and put it back with the others. Gisele saw this, and grabbed another letter, pointing to the towel. So we dried that one (which wasn't wet). I would dry the outer part, and Gisele the inner part, the letter itself. We did all 26 letters (and even some twice). Then the next day we did it again. And the next.

Last night there was something else which can only be described as a game. Gisele starting bringing me letters while I was on the bed (the letters were out in the lounge room). She brought them in 2 at a time. When none were left, she started bringing other things. She didn't have any interest in them after giving them to me, so the game was in the bringing itself (cue quote about life being a journey).

Oh, and she can name most letters now. D and T she often mixes up, and she can't say N or L. X she says as "hex". Y she often mixes with V. But the others are pretty good.

It's all quite fascinating, and very enjoyable too :)
